About

Music has been my life's passion for over 28 years—not just performing it, but teaching it.

I hold an LTCL (Licentiate in Music Performance) from Trinity College of Music, London. I stood 1st in India in the Trinity College Grade 8 Guitar Examination with 94%, receiving the Exhibition Award, and later won the All India Classical Guitar Competition organized by the Embassy of Spain. Throughout my career, I have performed and studied in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Holland, the UK, and the USA.

While these achievements are meaningful, what I value most is helping students discover that music is far simpler than it appears.

Over the past 28 years, I have developed and refined my own teaching curriculum—a concise 9-page system that teaches students the fundamental building blocks of music. This method covers nearly everything a beginner needs to confidently play thousands of songs while building a strong foundation for future learning.

Whether you are a complete beginner or someone who has struggled with music before, my goal is simple:

To make music easy, enjoyable, and deeply rewarding   :-)

Teaching Style

I believe that music should never feel complicated.

Many students give up because they are overwhelmed with theory before they are able to enjoy making music. My teaching takes the opposite approach.

I simplify complex musical ideas into clear, logical concepts that anyone can understand. Every lesson builds naturally upon the previous one, so students always know why they are learning something and how it connects to everything else.

My classes are:

  • Simple and easy to follow
  • Structured and systematic
  • Patient and encouraging
  • Practical rather than theoretical
  • Focused on building confidence from the very first lesson

Rather than memorizing endless chords and patterns, my students learn the logic behind music, allowing them to recognize patterns, play by ear, transpose songs, and continue learning independently.

My aim is not merely to teach songs—but to teach students how music actually works.

Curriculum

Over nearly three decades of teaching, I developed a unique 9-page curriculum that has helped hundreds of students learn music quickly and confidently.

Instead of overwhelming beginners with hundreds of chords, scales, and exercises, I teach the essential concepts that form the foundation of almost all modern music.

Students learn:

  • Understanding notes, chords, and keys
  • Major, minor, and seventh chords
  • Practical strumming patterns and rhythm
  • The relationship between chords within every key
  • How chord progressions work
  • How to transpose songs into any key
  • The patterns behind thousands of songs
  • The foundations needed to continue into advanced music

By the end of the course, students don't just know a collection of chords—they understand the musical system that connects them all.

This curriculum has been refined through 28 years of real classroom teaching, making it practical, efficient, and enjoyable for beginners of all ages.

After 28 years of teaching, I've reduced the essentials of music into a simple 9-page curriculum that helps beginners understand nearly 85% of practical music with clarity and confidence.
