Susie Hunanian

Hello! I’m Susie, a professional singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and music producer with 5 years of teaching experience.
I am a professional singer and vocal coach with a background in jazz and pop performance. I studied Jazz/Pop Singing at the Armenian State Song Theatre (2017–2020) and have 5 years of experience teaching students.

My passion is helping people discover their unique voice and express themselves through music. Alongside vocal training, my background in songwriting and music production allows me to guide students not only as singers but also as creative artists. I love helping students understand their voice, develop their own style, and bring their musical ideas to life.

My performance experience includes working as a Lead Singer with Shook Band (2019–2021) at Club 12 in Yerevan, performing as an Artist at the Armenian State Song Theatre (2021–2023), and participating in the Carpet Jam YouTube Music Project (2020).

In 2022, I performed in a large-scale symphonic concert honoring Armenian composer Arthur Grigoryan at the Karen Demirchyan Sport/Concert Complex in Yerevan.

I also received my early musical education at the Music School after Emma Asyan in Sisian, Armenia. Through my experience as a performer and educator, I help students improve their vocal technique, confidence, and musical expression.

My lessons are personalized, engaging, and adapted to each student’s goals. Whether you are a complete beginner who wants to learn the basics, a singer looking to improve technique, or a songwriter wanting to develop your own music, I will create a supportive learning experience designed around your needs.

In our lessons, we focus on building a strong vocal foundation through warm-ups, breathing techniques, pitch exercises, vocal control, and expression. We then apply these skills to songs you love, helping you become a more confident and expressive performer.

I believe that learning music should be inspiring and enjoyable. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you can experiment, make mistakes, grow, and discover what makes your voice unique.

I have built wonderful relationships with my students over the years, and many of my lessons become a creative collaboration as much as a class. I would be excited to be part of your musical journey and help you reach your goals!

My teaching style is warm, encouraging, and interactive. I believe that the best way to learn singing is through a combination of strong vocal technique, creativity, and enjoyment.

I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their voice, making mistakes, and growing with confidence. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s individual needs, level, and goals.

I focus on helping students build a healthy vocal foundation through proper technique, while also developing musical expression, confidence, and their own unique style. My lessons are practical and engaging, combining vocal exercises with songs that students love to sing.

My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling inspired, motivated, and excited to continue their singing journey.
