Yonathan Mora
About
I am a professional musician, singer, audio engineer, and award-winning recording artist based in Bogotá, Colombia. Immersed in the music industry since the age of 15, I have spent over a decade refining my expertise in vocal performance, audio production, multi-instrument performance, and studio engineering. My live experience includes performing on major stages such as Bogotá Gospel (2015), one of the most prominent gospel music festivals in Latin America. Over the years, I have released three full-length studio albums: Esperándote (2013), Todo Se Trata de Jesús, which won an ARPA Award in Mexico (2017) for Best Independent Album, and Gracia Escandalosa (2023).
Today, I operate my creative production studio, Mure Grace House, where I produce original music, perform lead vocals, and share music content on YouTube. Following my 2023 album, I expanded my catalog with three official singles distributed globally via TuneCore across all major streaming platforms: "Que Se Apaguen Las Luces", "El Amor Eterno", and my release "Te Adoro" (October 2026), complete with its official music video.
As an instructor on Lessonface, I bring a solid background in formal teaching, having served as a Music Teacher at the Melanie Klein School in Bogotá, Colombia, from 2015 to 2017. I offer private online lessons in audio production, signal routing, home recording workflows, and piano, guitar, and vocal performance, guiding students through practical techniques to turn creative ideas into professional, finished releases.
Teaching Style
My teaching methodology is flexible and tailored to each student's personal goals, combining practical performance techniques for guitar, bass, and piano etc with contemporary music theory and modern audio workflows.
Rather than following a single rigid textbook, I draw from a wide range of customized exercises, real-world song analysis, and interactive sessions tailored to the student's genre of interest. Whether we are developing instrumental skills or diving into music production and audio engineering, we work directly with practical exercises, song breakdowns, and session files in Ableton Live and Pro Tools so you can apply professional techniques to your own music from day one.
Curriculum
I use a practical, hands-on, and goal-oriented approach tailored to your personal goals. Whether we are working on guitar, piano, and vocal techniques, or diving deep into music production and mixing inside Pro Tools and Ableton Live, every lesson is customized to your level. We focus on real-world applications and your own creative projects so you can see tangible progress from day one.
