Jeff Ellsworth
About
Jeff Ellsworth is an accomplished guitarist who has been playing and composing for over 20 years. He has played in numerous bands such as Don Caballero and Broughton's Rules, both released by Relapse Records, and has toured throughout the U.S., Canada, and Europe. From a young age, he has studied with talented instructors both independently and at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jeff personalizes lessons accordingly, making his class a favorite of students of various skill levels and ages. His lessons are focused on the genre requested by the student and follow an intuitive pace on the fundamentals of guitar. Jeff has been a full time guitar teacher since 2002.
My teaching style is geared towards the individual. I try to find the strengths and needs of each student and make sure they are progressing. We will learn songs, scales and exercises to help develop each player. I incorporate music theory with learning songs and introduce a repetitous practice routine. All ages and styles welcome.
