I love teaching private lessons! I specialize in voice, piano, and songwriting from beginner to advances in classical, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary music. I like to start each private lesson off with warm-ups and theory and then continue working through the lesson on repertoire that is appropriate for the student. I am especially good with sight-reading as well as preparing students for high school performing arts programs, summer camps, summerstock, and college auditions. I try to be positive in my teaching, but also constructive; to really help students become the best musicians they can be. (Whether students are pursuing music and theater professionally or as a hobby.) I want to provide my students with quality music lessons, just as I received quality music lessons growing up! I have ten years of experience teaching online and in private, parochial, charter, and public school settings primarily in urban environments and underserved communities
