Chantal is a classically trained singer from Canada. She has over 10 years experience teaching private music lessons and is currently teaching and developing a music program at an International Primary School in Siem Reap, Cambodia.
Chantal received a Bachelor's Degree in classical singing and opera from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. She toured Hungary, Serbia, and Montenegro with the University Choir.
She has performed with companies such as, the Manitoba Opera, the Manitoba Underground Opera, and the University of Manitoba Opera Theatre.
Chantal has recorded one EP and two full-length country albums in Nashville, Tennessee with Grammy-nominated producer Kent Wells; who has produced Dolly Parton and other country artists.
While in Nashville, Chantal was fortunate to record with Nick Buddha, who has recorded drums for Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and many more, and Pat Buchanana, one of Nashville's top session musicians, who has played for Cindy Lauper, Simon and Garfunkel, Faith Hill, and Kenny Chesney.
I am passionate about music education and feel it is important to inspire and educate people of all ages. It is important to me that lessons are both enjoyable and enforce positive learning tools and discipline, which are all vital to learning music.

Just like stretching before a workout, warming up is crucial to vocal health.
Students will learn proper practicing habits as well as exercises to help strengthen and prepare the voice for a practice session, lesson or performance.
Students will learn a variety of exercises and etudes designed to strengthen different aspects of their voice. These aspects include range, dynamics, intonation, pronunciation, stamina and vocal flexibility.
Instruction and assignments will be given to students to expand and deepen their knowledge of the musical language.
Students will learn pieces that are appropriate for the individual level and skills they are currently working on.
