I graduated Berklee College of Music in 2009 with a degree in Guitar Performance. I have extensive live and studio experience, recently voted Best Local Guitarist by WMRC Radio. Currently, I perform regularly with The Peacheaters, an Allman Brothers Experience; The Road Dawgs (blues-rock group playing all over New England, voted Best Pop/Rock band by WMRC Radio); Authentic Counterfeit, a hip-hop group gigging heavily in Boston; and Three Last Words a hard rock group based out of Lowell, Massachusetts. I have recorded on several albums for several studios and artists. I also have performed with Gary Hoey and Viri Dimayuga. Additionally, I have conducted several clinics, filmed instructional videos, and demonstrated products for companies such as VHT. I have been teaching for over eight years and playing guitar for over 12 years.
My teaching style is to focus on what makes the student motivated to play the guitar and excited to learn. Whether that is the current hit song, or a Bach Sonata. I use the material that interests the student to analyze the technique and theory, and to help with ear training.
