Teaching Style
As someone who has had the priviledge of studying with some of the finest teachers in both trumpet and improvisation, I know the importance of mentorship. My own mentor, jazz icon Clark Terry, helped instill in me the belief that a student does not truly understand a subject until they themselves have the abilty to teach it. So, I began teaching at an early age. I have 9 years teaching experience in all levels (beginner through technically advanced players) in both jazz and trumpet, and 4 years experience over skype. I have taught privately, ensembles, and masterclasses of up to 200 students in the United States, South America and Europe. I currently have online students on 4 continents.
