Hello! I am a lover of blues guitar and slide-blues guitar in particular. I lived and worked in Nashville, TN, for 25 years as a session player. During that time, I made several trips to Clarksdale, MS, and Memphis, TN, to learn slide from some of the original artists of the genre. Such a blessing to learn where the music really comes from and how it's progressed. I was told by many bluesmen to always share the music and take if farther than where I found it. That is my hope with teaching: to help others discover and enjoy slide guitar. Let's go!

I am well versed in music theory, however I don't use books nor tablature for instruction. I literally customize instruction for each student on an individual basis. Everyone learns differently, and my job is to make sure each student is understanding the information I am offering. I have a degree in education, and learning to adapt instruction was a valuable lesson for me.
