I have been teaching instrumental music in public schools for 20 years. My main instrument is the clarinet. I teach all instruments in middle and high school bands, however. I play bass clarinet in our local symphony as well as Bb clarinet in our local civic band. I also have several years of experience teaching elementary music, as well.

I am a strong advocate of teaching my students to be lifelong lovers and learners of music. If it's not fun, they won't like it!
