Russell Martin

I am a worship leader, singer and songwriter. After years of traveling and leading worship I now focus on teaching youth to play guitar, piano, drums and bass so they can play on their own or with a worship team. My focus is to get students the basics they need to then continue to learn on their own. 

I want to help you love to play music.  Beginning guitar and piano students will learn the basics of how to play their instrument. Then we will progress using simple songs and concepts to help you play quickly.  I lead worship and work mostly off of chord charts and lead sheets. My strengths are rhythm guitar and piano. I play a lot by ear and teach students to figure out the music, use Chord symbols, improvisation, accompanying themselves or others and leading worship.
