Pedro Londono

Certified musician, guitar specialist and audio engineer Pedro Londoño has gone through a mix of classical training and contemporary music approach, going through several years of formal music education in the college of EAFIT in Colombia and the Musicians institute of Hollywood, has a mixed degree in guitar performance and audio engineering which he combines with years of personal research and attendance to several congresses and masterclasses of composition, improvisation and aesthetic sensitivity for musical purposes in several styles such as Latin, gypsy, funk, jazz fusion, country, rock, hard rock, extreme metal and avant-garde among many others.

In addition to that he has had the opportunity attend open counselings and receive private lessons from greater musicians such as Scott Henderson, Dan Gilbert, Vadim Silverstein, Leonardo Guzman,  Allen Hinds and Dave Hill.

The teaching style is usually decided upon meeting the student and realizing their needs, as for some people may need step by step guidance and even spending some time working on muscular memory, realizing basic guitar rudiments, understanding the theory both in paper and guitar and understanding harmony and theory, some people may need guidance in finding their own voice after being technically proficient, some other people may need help with their compositional aspects, it all fits into the course of action of a heavily involved teacher
