Hi, my name is Kris Shoemaker. I'm 24 years old and I have been playing guitar since the age of 10. Growing up I played in several bands in the Peoria, Il area. Teaching Style

My teaching style varies as I grow older. When I first began playing guitar I was interested in mainly heavy metal and punk music. As I grew older I got more into indie music and formed a band in that genre. For the past year or so I have been particularly interested in American blues music. Songwriting is always different so I never stick to one genre entirely. I actually recently started playing guitar for a post-hardcore outfit so I am really up for anything! I want to teach you the style of music you want to learn.
