Josh Fletcher
About
I've had a love for music since a young age. I began playing guitar over 20 years ago, inspired by my father who enjoyed singing and writing his own songs in his free time. I later went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Columbia College in Chicago. After college, I found my passion as an educator through teaching children and young adults. There's no better feeling than helping a student find their true passion!
I currently spend the majority of my time giving private lessons to all ages at a school in my local area. Along with guitar, composing, and arranging, I also teach bass guitar, piano, ukulele, drums, and music theory.
Teaching Style
My top priority is to establish a solid foundation for aspiring musicians.
I highly recommend my students learn how to read music. Not only will it make you a better a musician, it allows me to be more effective as a teacher.
