Erin Hagen

Hello! My name is Erin Hagen and I have been a high school history teacher for the past six years in which I have taught world history, US history,  European history, and AP courses.  In addition to my teaching experience, I have a bachelors degree in history and a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction  with a focus in Social Studies.  I am looking forward to helping you achieve your academic goals and answer any questions you have about social studies in a multitude to content areas.  

I firmly believe in a student centered teaching approach in which students are engaged and connected to the materials.  I make sure that all lessons, texts, and assignments are differentiated based on the individual student.  No two students are exactly the same so it is my mission to make the learning fun and easy to understand. I will help students gain the critical thinking skills that they need to be successful.  Education opens the door to many opportunities, and the right teacher or lesson can make a difference for any student.
