Sara Kendall

Sara Kendall, known as "Llynks," is a Brooklyn based artist whose haunting and introspective lyrics explore themes of empowerment and self preservation. Although taking inspiration from both fantastical and sci-fi worlds, Llynks’ lyrics are reflective of her life experience and delivered with a powerful voice that manisfests as a portal to her soul. Her debut album, “Become the Root” will be released early 2020 and tackles the concept of taking ownership of one's own perception in an emboldened tone backed by ethereal and cinematic production.  She's achieved a BA in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music with a focus on Vocal Performance and Songwriting and has taught voice lessons for over five years independently.

I'm very flexible and open to what you want to learn!  For voice lessons, we will spend the first part of the lesson focusing on vocal warmups, breathing, posture, etc, and then we will move onto technique training and learning a song of your choice.  I will provide accompaniment, or if you'd rather sing along to a Youtube video or audio file, that works too :) For songwriting, I will teach different techniques to get the motivation going and to start writing your own music. My mission is to give you the confidence and technique you need to feel amazing singing and performing at your best!
