About
I first graduated with honors with a degree in Psychology. Then, I worked for a while in a couple of companies in human resources. After a while, I realized that this path was simply not my path. After reaching this conclusion I attended Berklee College of Music, where I graduated cumma sum laude with a major in film scoring and a minor in music for video games. While I was studying there I got the opportunity to score a commercial for an educational institution that focuses in eco-tourism. Also, starting on the last semesters of my time there I started working with game developers, making music for them. As of now, I've composed and produced music for 3 video games, for one of them I also took the role of sound designer. And I am currently the sound designer for a 4th game. I also worked orchestrating a musical.
Teaching Style
My main goal is to give students the tools necessary to achieve whatever their goal happens to be. So, the first question I always ask is: what is it that you want to accomplish? Based on this, I construct a unique learning path that will allow you to reach your goals. By covering theory, the language of music, how to analyze your favorite songs, how to create a space where you can be free, best practice methods, music production, improvisation, and talking about how all of life can be channeled through music, I try my best to help students improve the way they want to improve. Self development is key.
Curriculum
Texts will depend on weather or not the student is interested in reading, and also on the topics being covered.
