About
I am a saxophone performance and music education major in my third year at NYU. I have years of experience teaching music lessons and have been playing saxophone for over 10 years. I look forward to every opportunity to spread the love of music!
Teaching Style
When teaching, my first priority is to introduce music in a way that students love it. I have found that practice, concentration, and dedication all come easy when we enjoy what we're doing. In terms of specific methods, for younger students I design the lesson around games, short segments that switch around to keep their attention, and activities that get them moving as well! For older students, I tailor it more to their specific needs.
Curriculum
For younger players, any beginner book works just fine. For saxophone, I use Sigurd Rascher's method book that I can provide a PDF of.
