Elena Chapovalova

Hello, 

My name is Elena and I am originally from Moscow, Russia. I moved to the US in 2001 and I am married with 6 children - I have been teaching piano, voice and music theory to children and adults for the past 20 years. In addition to teaching here on Lessonsface I also teach at Sunset Music Learning Studio in Redondo Beach as well as teaching choir at my Church.

For the past 8 years I have lived in Redondo Beach, California, prior to moving to California I have lived and taught m,usic in Las Vegas and Miami.

I love music and children - its my happy combo.

 I find it extremely rewarding to be able to establish trust with all of my students, get to know their personalities and watch them grow and thrive in their musical acheivements.

My overall general approach is to use a gentle positive and creative approach with each of my students with a focus on each students unique musical abilities.

I am a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory of Music with a Masters Degree in piano, vocal, choir and music theory.
