Caleb Tullius

Hello, my name is Caleb, I am a trumpeter and am in my third year of teaching at a high school in El Paso, Texas.  I am a graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and summa cum laude with  Master's Degree in Performance in Conducting. While at UTEP, I was Drum Major for the Marching Miners, studied abroad at the Domaine Forget Music Academy in Saint-Irenee, Quebec, Canada, and performed in several university ensembles including the concert, mariachi, and jazz bands. I also toured for three summers with the World-Class Finalist Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps. I love to teach aspiring musicians at all levels and aim to spread the joy of learning music. Learning music should be a fun and challenging experience that I would be happy to assist you with.

I am a high school teacher with many years of working with students of many different levels and giving lessons is not only what I do on a daily basis, but it what I do best. I have performed in many types of ensembles and played many different instruments. Through my graduate and undergraduate studies, I was well immersed in ear training, music theory, music history, and trumpet performance.
