About

Elisabeth has been a student of music and performance for almost 18 years. She began her journey in high school drama club, and earned a BFA in Musical Theater from the San Diego State University. She’s been in hundreds of Musical Theater productions around the country and Off-Broadway productions as well. She knows the backbone of the performance industry: stage construction, lighting, sound engineering, and management. While living in New York City, Elisabeth began studying ukulele  and continues to improve her skills in order to accompany herself. Elisabeth is the current Music Director for a church in Oceanside. She is beyond excited to meet new students and share her knowledge and passion for music with others.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is based on making the student feel comfortable. If a student is not at ease, they will not be able to do there best i work with beginner students and  I treat all students with the same level of respect, patiences and kindness  . My methods include warm-ups that help teach breath support and vocal placement to stretch vocal range and ease vocal tension that can then be applied to songs. Teaching How to chords and how to strum by the end of the first lesson they will be able to know 4 chords that they will be able to play many songs with . I also help students learn breathing techniques and coping mechanisms to help them deal with performance anxiety and teaching the that music is a way to express themselves
