Clyde Knox

I've been teaching  piano for three years now. I was at a private music studio that served  Dallas, TX. Since then, I have taught private in-home lessons, mostly in the same area.  I have such a passion for teaching and lots of experience working  with all ages of students as young as kindergarten.  In addition to piano, I have experience teaching other areas such as sports, trampoline,  riflery, archery, and kayaking, .  I enjoy the challenge of teaching  beginners and hearing  how they understand new information in a way that I've never considered before. I would love the opportunity to help you on your piano journey!

My teaching  philosophy is to encourage curiosity, love of learning, and intrinsic  motivation with structure but minimal stress.

I have a bachelors of science in Psychology. I studied piano and music in college as well.

I have been taking  piano lessons from Dr. Mary Turnbow since moving to Dallas.
