Lucas Ho

Hi! I'm a recent high school graduate, piano and trumpet enthusiast with over 21 years combined musical experience. I'm studying at the University of Western Australia with an Assured Pathway to the Doctor of Medicine. I have experience performing solo as well as in ensembles. I have also completed for piano, Preliminary to Grade 8 as well as Certificate of Performance (Best Candidate 2019) under the AMEB syllabus. Having studied under a few highly skilled teachers, I have the necessary experience to teach you (or your child). 

I integrate music theory (Reading sheet music, ear training, appropriate rhythm/pitch foundations etc.) into fun, practical orientated lessons. All students will be taught a solid foundation that encourages student independence. Student input in lessons is highly valued and I customise my lessons to work towards the student's goals, whether it be learning a song they've been listening to, working towards an exam, or learning for fun to gain a new skill.
