Anna Samolova
About
A results-driven piano instructor, choir conductor, and classical singer with 23 years of playing and 10 years of teaching piano and music to children ages 3-12, teenagers, and adults. Growing up in a family of musicians, Anna has fond memories of watching her mother sing and play the piano. She fell in love with the magical world of music and has been playing the piano since the age of 3.
Anna’s professional achievements include playing in ensembles and performing at major concert halls. She has won numerous piano competitions, including Best Accompanist Performance at Mikhail Glinka Minsk State Music College Festival in 2013.
Anna believes that playing piano is essential for everyone because piano music is incredibly powerful and can bring out strong emotions in both the listener and player. This leads to stress relief and better all-around physical health.
Anna's classes are never boring for children, as she uses special play techniques and play exercises for the development of motor skills and ear training. Adults are usually enrolled in an individual program based on set goals. After attending your very first lesson with Anna, you will be able to perform simple melodies.
Teaching Style
My teaching approach is to make piano lessons fun and enjoyable while building a strong foundation in playing piano, note reading, music theory, ear training, technique, and more. I always use music-based games, and I like to sing with my students while we play the piano, making my lessons engaging.
I also remember, that each student is different and requires different attention, and likes different things, that is why I'm good at adjusting the piano lessons to each individual student.
