About
Hi! I'm Elior, I'm a software engineer, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. I've been working as a software engineer for two years now in a start-up, and I also teach private lessons in math, physics, and computer science
As a tutor in university and a private tutor for the past 4 years, I have gained a wealth of experience in facilitating learning and helping students achieve their academic goals. As a university tutor, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, many of whom have had different learning styles and backgrounds. This experience has allowed me to develop effective teaching strategies that cater to the individual needs of each student and enhance their learning experience.
In my role as a private tutor, I have worked one-on-one with students from primary to high school, helping them improve their grades and build a strong foundation in their subjects of study. This has been a highly rewarding experience as I have been able to make a tangible difference in the lives of my students, helping them achieve their full potential.
Overall, my experience as a tutor has been a unique and rewarding one. I have developed strong interpersonal and communication skills and a deep understanding of how to effectively teach and motivate students. I am confident that I have the skills and experience necessary to help students achieve their academic goals and make a real impact in their lives.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is always to contact the student before the lesson, and have a short conversation, I do like to get to know my students better before the class, which helps me prepare my class accordingly. Then, I build the class that will be adjusted to the level they are in, and the subject they want to work on, from beginner to expert. I prepare exercises in advance, and I am very patient and wait until my student understand the concept well
Curriculum
I love teaching, I am very enthusiastic in seeing students that are confused about a specific subject, but have a lot of motivation to learn, and seeing that motivation converts itself to a much-improved level of expertise in that subject, is like magic to me.
I also come from a family of teachers, as my mother teaches Hebrew to kids at all levels in schools in Israel, and to Olim Hadashim - New immigrants to the land of Israel.
