About

For the last 16 years I have had the pleasure of sharing my love of math with my student in middle and high school. During this time, I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry. Geometry has always been my favorite class to teach because it allows me to be creative in my delivery of the content.

I hold a BS in Business Administration and an MBA, both from Hampton University. I received my Master's in Teaching From Pace University, and my School Building Leader Certificate from Baruch College. I am currently an Assistant Principal in New York City.

Teaching Style

I am an "out of the box thinker" when it comes to teaching Geometry. Over the years, I have adopted a project-based style of teaching, and often included several hands-on tasks in each unit. Some of my favorite projects included using architecture and city planning documents to teach students about the special angles created by parallel lines and transversals, and using the Cha-Cha Slide to teach about transformations.
