About

“Hannah is the most inspirational, motivational, and profound teacher I’ve ever had.
She will help you take your art to the next level, and if you commit to the work she assigns as a regular client, you will literally transform your life." - Abby Wolf, Singer / Songwriter, Actor, Painter, and Psychotherapist (One of many transformed clients, see www.thetruthfulcreative.com for more testimonials)

I tailor my work as a transformative creative coach to each client's experience, specific challenges, and personality.

Clients can then go beyond the mere "technique" of their work or art to release blocks and perceived limitations and tap into their craft in new ways. They discover Who They Truly Are. From this True Self, their work and lives are transformed.

I have nearly 30 years of experience as a professional actor, writer, director, and producer. Many hats have been worn along the way. This has given me a wide range of skills and the hard-won personal growth that makes me uniquely qualified to guide the creative on this sometimes ruthless but ultimately glorious journey.

Having endured both success and failure, I am also happy to share the many tools I have garnered for maintaining resilience, strength, and inner peace, even when the outer world goes sideways for those committed to The Truthful Creative life.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is personalized as I focus on the TRUTH that is in YOU. (Check out my website for more on my philosophy and experience in that regard. That said, I have studied and/or every major acting technique from Stanislavski to Uta Hagen to Practical Aesthetics to Michael Chekhov.

In the end, TECHNIQUE is a springboard. It is homework. No one should see your homework. A teacher who wants to see your homework doesn't care if you're learning.

TRUTH births creativity, imagination, and magic... AND that is includes the messy, brutal, uncontrolled stuff of life.

Technique can often choke life, and thus TRUTH right out of artistic creation.

A good coach won't allow that. I'm a good coach. I don't allow that... so I am not everyone's cup of tea.

My theory is if you try to be good, you MIGHT be truthful... but likely not.

But if you give ZERO effs about being good and commit yourself ruthlessly to TRUTH, 99.9% you will be good, but by then... you don't care.
