Joyce Lee
About
I hold a Masters in Piano Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and a Bachelor's in Music from the University of Virginia. I have over 8 years of teaching experience, including students of all ages and levels. I am currently on the faculty of the Young Pianists Secondary Piano Program at Jacobs School of Music, teaching both private and group lessons.
Teaching Style
My teaching approach is student-centered--I prioritize the learning goals of each student, and adapt my teaching style to best fit their needs. I believe it is most important to cultivate a safe and supportive learning environment through patient, kind, and thorough instruction. I do expect students to take the lessons seriously, implementing consistent practice at home and effort/focus during the lessons.

In addition to being on the faculty of the pre-college program at the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, I also have a private online studio.
