I would love to share the joy of the piano with you.  The piano is my first love. I am a lifelong musician and discovered my passion for teaching at a mature age. I believe this is why I am able to so effectively connect at teaching students of all ages and abilities, combining patience, imagination creativity, and enthusiasm with solid professional training and experience. Music has power and meaning that go beyond words.  I have seen over the years how sharing music, especially with children is simply one more way to give love and receive love. Music plays a powerful role in our lives. Through music, one better understands themselves and their feelings. Playing and teaching music is such a rewarding experience for both the teacher and the student. I take great pride in delivering a great musical experience for my students. Music is a journey, and I know we can create one together!

Tell us about your prior experience and achievements.

I have been teaching piano for over 25 years, and during that time, I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of students in both group and individual settings.  In addition to my teaching experience, I hold a bachelor’s in music education. I am constantly seeking to improve my skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development through my long-standing membership in the MTAC. I am also well-versed in a variety of piano teaching methods and approaches as well as an award-winning  songwriter( Great American Songwriting Contest)
