About
Welcome to the world of violin music! My name is Dorotea Branisavljevic, a violinist from Belgrade, Serbia. I am a passionate and dedicated violin teacher with 10 years of experience. My journey with the violin began at a young age, and over the years, I have honed my skills not only as a musician but also as an educator.
Education and Experience
I completed both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Violin Performance and Education at Faculty of Music Art in Belgrade. This education provided me with a deep understanding of violin technique, music theory, and pedagogical methods, laying a strong foundation for my career as a violin teacher.
Throughout my career, I have performed in various orchestras and chamber ensembles, allowing me to gain valuable insights into the world of professional music. I was a member of Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra for 6 years, during which time I had the privilege of collaborating with renowned soloists and working under the guidance of accomplished conductors. These experiences have not only enriched my musicality but have also provided me with a deep understanding of orchestral dynamics and the art of collaborative performance.
I am currently employed as a violin teacher and I spent a decade providing private violin lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. My students have achieved success in various musical pursuits, from mastering challenging pieces to performing in recitals and competitions. I take pride in their accomplishments and am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
