About
A young swing/bluegrass/country fiddle player who dabbled in classical to master the difficult technique of the violin. I have 10 years of experience and am great at teaching children. I taught privately for a few years at my home. I also taught private lessons at a Homeschool Co-op and assisted in teaching a music class. I have about 3 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching on Superprof.com via video call.
Teaching Style
Each person has a different learning style, so each lesson plan for each student is going to be different and tailored to their needs. I specailze in teaching beginners, intermediate students, and children.
Curriculum
Offering lessons to children and adults from ages 7 and up. From complete beginners to intermediate players who are looking to learn more about country swing, or bluegrass styles of playing.
I recommend getting the book Fingerboard Geography by Barbara Barber
Credentials & Affiliations
I've been in the music world since I was around 5. I fell in love with the violin after bouncing from instrument to instrument. I went from piano to baritone ukulele, to guitar, to mandolin, to pan flute, and then started violin and dropped everything else because I loved it so much.
I have around 2 years of teaching experience, ranging from ages 13 to mid-70s. (never too late to start!)
