About
I have been teaching classical piano for about 19 years. I first started in Yamaha Music School with its own curriculum, then Performing Arts Academy focusing on ABRSM curriculum. I taught many students with the aim for examination grades and so far the passing rate is 100 %.
I have got my first recognition in the music competition in 2023 when I was the second prize winner of Los Angeles Golden Music Awards. Shortly after, I won the first prize and special prize in UK International Music Competition 2023. The current award came from Erik Satie International Competition 2024 with the Gold Prize.
Teaching Style
I am very much into holistic approach concerning both technique and musicality. I do emphasise on discipline and how it helps us to achieve things.
Curriculum
I always start with one or two concepts that students are able to understand. If needed, I dissect them into smaller ones until my students are fully comprehended. And technique comes first, then the interpretation.
My recommended Texts are ABRSM curriculum, Suzuki Piano School, Czerny Studies and Russian Piano School.
Credentials & Affiliations
My ability could be proved with 4 international piano prizes including Second, First, Special and Gold respectively.
I am determined to seek for the very best of my students' performances. Specifically for those who do music exams, they are fully equipped by the end.
