Desiree Johnson

Hello, and welcome to my piano studio! I am passionate about sharing my love for music with students of all ages and levels. With a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and a Master's Degree in Piano Performance from Bob Jones University, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my teaching. I have taught private piano lessons for over 15 years. I have also had the privilege of performing and teaching in various settings, including 11 years in a private school, where I taught general music, band, and choir. My experience also extends to being a church musician, accompanying church and school choirs, and performing at various venues. Since 2020, I have been offering online private lessons, allowing me to connect with students from various locations.

Whether you’re a beginner just starting your musical journey, an advanced student refining your skills, or someone learning piano for personal enjoyment, I am here to help you achieve your goals. My teaching covers a wide range of styles, including classical piano, film music, folk, contemporary piano, and worship music. As a member of the Music Teachers National Association, I am committed to maintaining the highest standards in music education. 

In my studio, I strive to create a relaxed and fun environment where students can develop their musical skills with confidence. I would love to meet you in a trial lesson and explore how we can work together to reach your musical aspirations. My studio hours are weekdays from 10 AM to 6 PM Eastern Standard Time.
