About
I’ve been passionate about music for more than half my life, playing various instruments before being captivated by the flamenco guitar about eight years ago. Since then, I’ve embarked on a journey of discovery, taking lessons with the prominent gypsy guitarist and singer Antonio Agujetas Chico. I’ve also continued learning and developed my own methodology for studying and teaching flamenco, as I didn’t grow up surrounded by it.
Teaching Style
I've been teaching weekly flamenco guitar lessons to numerous students for about four years.
My lessons last about 40–50 minutes, and my teaching style is highly personalized, depending on the level and pace of the student.
Whether you play another genre and would like to discover the world of flamenco or you are a complete beginner, this is for you.
Curriculum
What I provide my students with at the end of every session, is a recorded video of me demonstrating what we went through during the class as well as their homework/exercises, so they can practice in their own time and pace. I don't work with books or sheet-music, simply because Flamenco isn't learned through text and sheet-music. We learn through speech, imitation and direct instruction depending on each person's abilities and limitations.
