About
I am a passionate and dedicated music educator certified by the state of Michigan to teach students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Also a proud graduate of Concordia University, I hold a degree in Music Education with a focus on vocal performance, blending technical expertise with heartfelt artistry.
With six years of experience teaching general music, choir, and band, I have a proven track record of fostering creativity and building confidence in students of all ages. Whether directing harmonious choirs, leading energetic band rehearsals, or teaching students one on one, I am committed to inspiring a lifelong love of music in every student.
On a personal note, I have been happily married to my husband since 2016 with a beautiful baby girl and a sassy corgi named Ham.
Teaching Style
As a classically trained musician and educator, I bring a deep appreciation for tradition while embracing the unique learning styles of each student. My teaching philosophy is rooted in flexibility and adaptability, ensuring lessons are tailored to meet individual needs and goals.
I’m a firm believer in the power of exploratory learning, encouraging students to ask questions, experiment, and discover their own musical voice. Whether we’re diving into technique, exploring new genres, or mastering a challenging piece, every lesson is a journey of growth and creativity.
