Violin Teacher - Highly advanced & The beginner - Encourage self-expression & curiosity

I was born in the westcoast of Norway called Stavanger and moved to Dreiländereck, Ötlingen, a village overlooking the vineyards over two years ago.

My teaching experience ranges from beginners to highly advanced. I am a dedicated, passionate teacher who loves to pass on my knowledge of music. I believe the essence of teaching is to encourage the artist within to focus on expression and experience the connection to oneself.

Music for me is all about connecting to your own feelings and inner world, and finding a way to share this with other artists and listeners. I teach violin with the help of imagination as well as great methods. I focus on the joy of discipline and focus rather then being rigid. I guide you to discover yourself, your inner voice that constitutes the artist you are.

I teach both at home, your home if convenient, or on Lessonface. I speak English, and German, and naturally my mother tongue Norwegian.

Classical music, as well as improvisation, folk and spiritual.

My approach is holistic, and it is individual how the structure looks like for each student. Every musician is unique, and it is my chance to encourage that individual voice. 

I work technical, always integrated, organically woven into the expressive part, that primarily always is the guide.
