About
Hi! I'm Ayala, a professional saxophone teacher with two Master's Degrees:
π One in Saxophone Performance from the Conservatory of Trento, and
π One in Music Education from the Conservatory of Modena.
Eight years ago, I moved to Italy to continue my musical journey, and since then Iβve deepened my experience both as a performer and educator.
I have over 10 years of experience performing and teaching saxophone, both privately and in schools. I currently teach saxophone in public middle schools in Modena, Italy, and in several local music academies. My teaching approach is personalized, supportive, and grounded in classical technique, while remaining open to students' individual styles and musical interests.
As a performer, Iβve had the opportunity to play in various ensembles and orchestras, and to appear in music festivals and concert series across Italy -Β such as the Spoleto Festival dei Due Mondi, Lago Maggiore Musica, Festival Paesaggi Musicali Toscani, BolsenArte, and the Faenza SaxArts Festival.
Whether you're a total beginner or looking to level up your playing, Iβve got you covered. All you need is a saxophone, a computer, and a camera. :)
Letβs make music together from the comfort of your home!
Teaching Style
My teaching style is student-focused, flexible, and encouraging. I believe that learning saxophone should be enjoyable and tailored to your individual goals and musical tastes - whether you want to play jazz, classical, pop, or simply your favorite songs.
With over 10 years of experience teaching both beginners and advanced students online and in person, Iβm patient and adapt each lesson to your pace and needs. I create a supportive environment where you can explore, grow, and truly enjoy the musical journey.
Alongside technique and repertoire, I can incorporate music theory and sight-reading when it benefits your progress. Whatever your level or aspirations, Iβm here to guide you with passion and personalized attention.
