About

I am a passionate guitar instructor and youth mentor based in Lusaka, Zambia, with a strong commitment to using music as a tool for creativity, discipline, and positive personal development.Though I do not hold a degree or diploma in music from a reputable university or college, I have several years of experience playing guitar, both through self-online tutorialtraining such as "Yousician" and "Duolingo music" and practical performance in community, bread of life church international, and youth-centered environments such as Zambian arts and design shows, Zamfest and Master cook Africa.
Through my work as Manager and Vision Curator at Caesars Garden, a family-friendly events Garden and play park, I have integrated music into children’s programs, helping young learners discover their musical abilities in a fun and structured setting. My experience includes organizing and leading music sessions, mentoring children, and using creative arts to encourage good values and confidence.

Teaching Style

My teaching style is friendly, patient, and student-centered. I create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to learn at their own pace. I especially enjoy working with beginners and children, helping them build confidence from their very first lesson.
I believe learning music should be fun and inspiring, so I balance structure with creativity to keep students motivated.

Curriculum

My teaching method focuses on practical learning and gradual skill-building:

Starting with basic chords and simple songs

Introducing rhythm and strumming patterns

Teaching foundational music theory in an easy way

Encouraging practice through familiar and enjoyable songs

I adapt lessons to each student’s level and goals, ensuring steady progress while keeping the learning experience enjoyable.

Credentials & Affiliations

Since 2023, I have been teaching beginner guitar lessons to children and youth through programs at Caesars Garden, where I guide students through foundational skills such as chords, rhythm, and basic music theory. My teaching style focuses on simplicity, patience, and consistency, helping beginners build confidence and progress at their own pace.
Beyond technique, I emphasize discipline, focus, and self-expression, creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow both musically and personally. I have experience teaching both individuals and groups, adapting my approach to different ages and learning styles.
My background is rooted in self-driven musical development, supported by a Diploma in Theology and a Certificate in Understanding Children from Voice of Prophecy College. These qualifications strengthen my ability to mentor young learners with patience, structure, and purpose.
I am committed to continuous improvement as both a musician and educator, and I aim to inspire a lifelong love for music in every student.
