About
Miss Erin has trained with the best teachers and programs in the Boston area. She has cheered for professional sports teams and danced with several New England based companies in ballet and Latin dance. She has taught and coached thousands of students in dance and cheer throughout her 20+ year career. Miss Erin is excited to share her knowledge, choreograph routines and coordinate performances and competitions for her students.
Teaching Style
In class you can expect a warm-up (10-15 mins): Light cardio, dynamic stretching to prepare muscles.
Technique/Skill Building (15-20 mins): Working on specific steps, turns (pirouettes), leaps, or isolations. Choreography/Application (15-20 mins): Learning and practicing a short dance routine using the skills taught, often repeated with music. We will focus on musicality, expression, body awareness and tequnique. Competition and performance opportunities are also available.
Credentials & Affiliations
-Graduated from Jose Mateo’s Ballet Theater advanced professional program.
-Trained, taught and competed with Fred Astaire Dance Studio in both Latin and Ballroom.
- Danced professionally with Ballet Prism, Cultura Latina Dance Company, Railers Hockey Club Cheerleaders and more.
-Instructed at several studios and gyms; coached many varsity and all-star cheerleading teams in the New England area, for over 20 years.
-Certified in Progressive Ballet Techniques.
-National Award-winning choreography.
