About
An internationally trained flutist, conductor, and music educator with extensive experience in performance and music teaching. Musical training began at a specialized music secondary school in Moscow, where a strong foundation in classical flute performance and ensemble playing was developed at an early age.
This early education led to advanced studies at the Russian Academy of Music in Moscow. Academic training continued in Germany at the University of Music in Freiburg, where diploma programs in Music Education and Orchestral Music with a specialization in flute were completed. These studies combined artistic performance training with professional pedagogical education.
Professional performing experience includes work as a soloist with the orchestra of the Moscow Bach Center. Artistic activities have also included participation in international music projects such as the Huddersfield Festival of Contemporary Music in the United Kingdom, one of the leading festivals for contemporary classical music. Recognition for musical achievement has also been received through awards in national competitions for woodwind instruments in Russia.
Alongside performing activities, many years of teaching experience have been developed at music schools and cultural institutions in Germany. Flute instruction has been provided to students of different ages and levels, including beginners, intermediate students, and advanced musicians preparing repertoire and performances.
In addition to individual teaching, conducting work has included the musical direction of wind orchestras and community ensembles. This work has involved rehearsal leadership, repertoire preparation, and the organization of concerts and public performances.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and individually adapted to each student’s goals and level.
I place strong emphasis on building a healthy and reliable technical foundation, especially in breathing, tone production, embouchure control, and articulation. A well-developed technique creates freedom and confidence in playing.
Musical expression, phrasing, stylistic awareness, and sound quality are essential parts of my lessons from the very beginning. Technique and musicality always develop together.
For beginners, I work step by step in a clear and encouraging way, ensuring a solid foundation.
For advanced students and professionals, I focus on refinement of sound, interpretation, technical precision, and preparation for auditions, concerts, or competitions.
I believe that real progress comes from clarity, consistency, and motivation. My goal is not only technical improvement, but also helping each student develop confidence,
