Hello! My name is Aliya, and I’m a professional artist and art instructor currently based in Bali, Indonesia.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and completed 7 years of formal art education. For more than 7 years, I have been teaching drawing and painting to students from different backgrounds and countries, both in-person and online.
Whether you want to learn to draw from scratch, improve your technique, or reconnect with creativity, I would be happy to guide you on your artistic journey.
Teaching Style
My goal as a teacher is simple: to make art clear, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone. Many students believe drawing is a talent you either have or don’t have, but in reality it is a skill that can be learned with the right guidance and practice.
In my lessons, I break complex artistic concepts into simple, structured steps, so students can quickly understand how drawing and painting actually work. This helps build confidence and allows students to see real progress.
Curriculum

• Drawing fundamentals (proportion, structure, shading)
• Observational drawing and sketching
• Watercolor and painting techniques
• Composition and visual storytelling
• Creative exercises for relaxation and expression
I teach beginners, hobby artists, and students who want to improve their technical skills. Each lesson is adapted to the student’s level, pace, and personal goals.
