Experienced songwriter / composer of popular music (Universal music USA). I can teach you the tricks of the trade, how to create songs or tidy up your and format songs ready for release. I can also teach Guitar, Bass, Vocals and keyboards / Piano. Take your songs to the next level in your development. I have worked in the industry for a long time, most recently writing for Universal music publishing in the USA. I can also guide your to use your desktop music production software in a more professional way. I use Logic Pro X. You can even send me your Logic files and I can help you bring them to a professional level. If you live local we can arrange for in person lessons too.

My teaching style is informal. I can help you quickly advance with either your songs or / and your guitar / Bass / keyboards / playing.
Curriculum
My informal method means you do not not need to know any music theory, but I can introduce you to theory as we progress. Most songwriters actually write blind / free from theory, but some theory can help. I can help you understand what theory is relevant for popualr music songwriting.
Credentials & Affiliations
I have a Master's degree in music education research, and I am a Fellow of the advanced Higher Education Body FHEA. I have taught popular music composition, performance and guitar, bass, vocals, and keyboards now within UK universities at degree level for over 5 years.
