Teaching Style

As a performing artist, I teach to build perfrection and a rock-solid foundation in this sacred art. My approach is interactive and nurturing, helping children connect deeply with Bharathanatyam through the history and divine stories essential for soulful performance. 

Course Structure

BEGINNER LEVEL: Building the Foundation ( starts with exercises) 

* Practical Mastery: We cover basic Adavus up to Alarippu.

* Rhythmic Training: Understanding Talam (rhythmic beats) from the very beginning.

* Theory: Mastery of Asamyuktha and Samyuktha Hastas, Shiro, Drusthi, and Greeva Bhedas.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: 

* Focused training on Alarippu and Jathiswaram Adavus.

* Complex Talam structures for Jathiswaram and Alarippu.

* Learning Padha, Bhramari, and Chari Bhedas.

* Introduction to Shabdham.

ADVANCED LEVEL: 

* Complete mastery margam (sequence) , preparing students for professional stages and university examinations in Bharathanatyam.

ARANGETRAM PREP:

* Provide advanced guidance for students with prior Bharathanatyam training.

I teach Bharathanatyam the traditional Pandhanallur and Kalakshetra way, 1 on 1 classes focus on strong adavu foundation , abinayas, Theories.My online classes give personal attention to each student, helping them master rhythm, grace and stage presence from basics to Arangetram.
