I am a qualified educator with a Bachelor of Education (Arts) and currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies at Kabarak University. My teaching background includes Mathematics, Geography, literacy, numeracy, essay writing mentorship, and competency-based education.

I believe that every learner has the potential to succeed when provided with the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. My teaching approach is learner-centered, interactive, and tailored to individual needs. I create a supportive environment where students can build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve their academic goals at their own pace.

My experience includes teaching in secondary schools, mentoring learners in academic writing, designing learning materials, and supporting diverse learners through inclusive education practices. I have also completed professional training in Competency-Based Education, Literacy Instruction, and Numeracy Development, which has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and abilities.

In my lessons, I focus on understanding each student's strengths and areas for growth. Whether a learner needs help mastering foundational concepts, preparing for examinations, improving problem-solving skills, or building confidence in a subject, I strive to make learning engaging, practical, and meaningful.

My teaching style is learner-centered, supportive, and interactive. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to match individual learning needs, abilities, and goals. I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their ideas, and building confidence in their abilities.

I use clear explanations, guided practice, real-life examples, and continuous feedback to make learning meaningful and engaging. My lessons encourage active participation, critical thinking, and problem-solving rather than rote memorization. I also incorporate a variety of teaching resources and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and support diverse learners.

Whether working with students who need help strengthening foundational skills, preparing for examinations, or advancing their understanding of a subject, my goal is to make learning enjoyable, accessible, and effective while helping each learner reach their full potential.

Credentials & Affiliations

I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) specializing in Mathematics and Geography and am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum Studies at Kabarak University. I have further strengthened my professional expertise through Edves Certified Educator Training and Fundawande Literacy and Numeracy programs, while my Certificate of Proficiency in Competency-Based Education (CBE) is currently being processed. Through my professional experience, I have developed practical expertise in delivering the British Curriculum and provide personalized IGCSE Mathematics tutoring using learner-centered and competency-based instructional approaches. As a Teach For Kenya (affiliated to Teach for All) Fellow, I continue to strengthen my instructional practice and remain committed to continuous professional growth and excellence in teaching.
