About

Dr. Megan Dillon is a Boston-based saxophonist, woodwind doubler, and educator known for her expressive musicality and dynamic performances. She currently serves as a Professor of Saxophone at Keene State College and is on the woodwind faculty at Brimmer & May School and the Dedham School of Music. Megan holds a Doctorate of Music in Saxophone Performance from the New England Conservatory. She has appeared with wind ensembles and orchestras throughout the Northeast, with notable performances at Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall, and Alice Tully Hall. Megan is a member of the North American Saxophone Alliance and has presented at NASA conferences and the World Saxophone Congress. Her chamber works have been published by RC Editions, and she was co-winner of the 2023 Boston Woodwind Society Saxophone Merit Award.

Teaching Style

In our lessons we incorporate musicality, theory, rhythm, accuracy, and expression! We troubleshoot any difficulties and reinforce our strengths! Lessons are for all levels. Instructor has experience teaching as young as 3 years old and as old as seniors 70+. Consistency and repetition is key!
