About
I have played saxophone and piano since I was a child, so I can relate to most music students—practically all of them! I graduated from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, and continued my music studies at Barry University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in music, and at University of Miami, where I earned a master’s degree in instrumental performance. I have taught students of different ages, both individually and in groups. Currently, I work as the music teacher of an elementary school in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Teaching allows me to share my passion for music while helping students develop their skills, overcome challenges, and discover the joy of making music which should be a life-long journey!
Teaching Style
Personalized lessons designed to enable you enjoy music through piano, saxophone, and music theory. My teaching approach varies depending on the student’s age, level, and musical interests. I strive to meet each student where they are and help them grow in their musical and performance skills.
Lessons vary slightly depending on the instrument or subject being studied. A typical class includes technique exercises and repertoire that fosters musical expression and creativity. We can also work together to choose the music you would like to play during lessons. Music theory lessons will always include reading, writing, and listening exercises.
