Hello, I’m Aijaz Khan, an Indian classical sitar player from India. I have been studying and performing Indian classical music for several years and remain actively involved as a performer and musician.
Throughout my musical journey, I have performed at numerous concerts, cultural events, festivals, and solo recitals in India and internationally. I have had the opportunity to perform on prestigious stages and collaborate with musicians from diverse musical backgrounds. My performance experience includes appearances at major cultural events and television programs, helping me develop both artistic and stage experience.
As a teacher, I focus on building strong fundamentals, proper sitar technique, rhythm, ragas, and musical understanding. My lessons are structured yet friendly, and are tailored to each student’s goals and experience level. Whether you are a complete beginner or an intermediate student looking to deepen your knowledge of Indian classical music, I aim to make learning engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding.

Curriculum
My teaching method combines practical playing, listening, and step-by-step instruction. Students learn proper posture, hand technique, basic exercises, ragas, rhythm, and musical expression. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and goals, with a focus on building a strong foundation while making learning enjoyable and engaging.
