Malachi Braithwaite

Malachi Braithwaite is a 21 yr old cellist and vocalist from Bethesda, MD pursuing a degree in Cello Performance at Berklee College of Music. Malachi is profficient in many styles such as Classical, Baroque, Folk, RnB, Soul, and different Comtemporary styles. Malachi has been playing cello since the age of 9 and has been singing ever since she could talk! Since then, Malachi has been in many orchestras and ensembles (small and large). Some of which include, the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestras, Young Artists of America and Berklee's Contemporary Symphony Orchestra where she performed in New England Conservatory's Jordan Hall. At Berklee, Malachi serves as Music Director of Pitch Slapped, an award-winning a cappella group recognized for its growing audience and impact, while continuing to deepen her artistry as a cellist and vocalist across classical and contemporary styles.
