About

Hello! I’m a professional vocalist, musician, songwriter, and vocal coach holding a Master’s degree from New York University, with formal training in Classical Vocal Performance. My artistic journey has been shaped by advanced studies with distinguished professors from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Berklee College of Music, where I developed a strong foundation in vocal technique, musicianship, songwriting, and music production. Throughout my career as a performer, I have received multiple international music awards and delivered solo performances at renowned concert venues across China, the United States, and Germany. Beyond the stage, I have been recognized by internationally renowed media as a musician with healing and creative power, with features in Universal Culture, K13, China Culture Entertainment, RMAS, Oleada, and La Caverna. My artistic experiences also extend to academic and industry collaborations. I have been invited as a guest speaker and musician for Columbia University’s concert series and have collaborated with leading music platforms such as Tencent Music and NetEase Music. As a solo vocalist and vocal instructor in the Chinese Traditional Music Club, I have explored the fusion of traditional and contemporary musical expression and received the Best Chinese Folk Female Singer Award at the China Starlight Music Ceremony.

Teaching Style

Over the years, I have built extensive experience as both a performer and educator. My background spans both classical and contemporary music, allowing me to guide students across a wide range of styles, from classical voice and musical theatre to pop, singer-songwriter, and commercial vocals. I can teach in both English and Mandarin.
My teaching combines strong technical foundations with artistic expression, helping singers develop healthy vocal habits, confidence, versatility, and authentic musical communication.

Curriculum

I believe every voice is unique, and I tailor each lesson to the individual student's goals, learning style, and stage of development. Whether you are a beginner discovering your voice, an experienced singer refining your technique, or a professional preparing for auditions, performances, competitions, or recording sessions, I am committed to helping you build a healthy, expressive, and confident voice while discovering your own artistic identity.

Every lesson is personalized to your goals, experience, and vocal needs. We typically begin with a vocal assessment and healthy warm-ups to build breath support, vocal placement, resonance, and vocal freedom. From there, we'll focus on the techniques most relevant to your voice, such as range development, pitch accuracy, vocal control, or register transitions.

Next, we'll apply these techniques directly to songs, refining musicality, interpretation, phrasing, and performance. For students interested in songwriting, I also provide guidance in melody writing, lyric development, and artistic expression.

Each lesson concludes with personalized feedback and practice recommendations, so you'll continue making steady progress between sessions.
