My name is Leonardo, I am a pianist with over 20 years of experience in piano performance and a background in composition, orchestration and music theory.
If you are seeking to receive one-on-one private lessons, receive advice or simply learn to play your favorite piece or learn to compose one of your own, I would be happy to discuss what would be the best fit for you!
Teaching Style
In all my years as a musician, I have gotten extensive expertise in learning the teaching styles of many different tutors around the world, from masterclasses to professionals in high-end conservatories, some including Marisa Blanes, Adreu Riera, Adolfo Bueso and others.
Following this experience, I can design the right study plan for you, and help you improve using a comprehensive and intuitive learning style!
I will request or help you build your very own repertoire, and we'll go over it at your own pace. I will annotate corrections in your sheet music and then send over recommendations, advice fingering positions to help you grow as a pianist!

Credentials & Affiliations
I am a professional musician with over 20 years of experience in the field. I have an undergraduate degree in piano performance, in which I graduated with honors and earned an extraordinary prize for the best pianist of my generation in the Superior Conservatory of Music of Valencia (CSMV), an institution regarded as one of the top-tier conservatories in Spain.
I have participated in several competitions including the First Piano Latinoamericano Competition in my home country Costa Rica, in which I won the first prize, the International Piano Competition Maria Clara Cullell, in which I earned the Honorary Mention. I have participated in concerts all throughout the country, performed for the orchestra of the University of Costa Rica and participated in projects such as the Junior Original Concert from Yamaha Education, where I was invited to play my own original composition "Crónicas del Jaguar" in Argentina.
I have knowledge not only in piano performance, but in other musical subjects including composition and orchestration, as I am currently finishing a master's degree in Orchestration for Film, Games and Television in an online program patroned by the University of Bournemouth (AUB).
